Our story began over 12 years ago, when Carly joined Shane’s office on Capitol Hill. Shane was working in the district at the time, but Carly quickly became curious about the mysterious coworker she kept hearing about.

After a few months of passing interactions as work required, Shane returned to the DC office, and a fast friendship followed. About a year later, after years as coworkers and friends, Shane finally asked Carly on their first date.

Over the past decade, we’ve shared a love of good food, travel, time with friends and family, and plenty of time staying in and relaxing at home.

New York City has been a favorite weekend escape for us over the years, so it feels especially meaningful to celebrate here. We can’t wait to welcome all of you to one of our favorite cities and share it with the people we love most.
