Since we’re getting married in New York City, it’s no surprise that it’s one of our favorite places to visit. We hope you’re able to spend an extra day or two exploring the city. If so, here are some of our favorite ways to experience NYC, whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth.
The Best Ways to Spend Time Exploring
Walk the High Line – A scenic stroll above the city with great views and people-watching
Take the NYC Ferry – One of the best (and most underrated) ways to see the skyline (If you’re feeling adventurous on the wedding day, The River Cafe is right next to the DUMBO ferry stop—traffic-free and a beautiful way to arrive)
Visit the Classics at The Met – You could spend hours here and still not see it all
Stroll Central Park – Perfect for a morning walk or afternoon reset
Walk the Brooklyn Bridge – Incredible skyline views, especially at sunset
Explore Greenwich Village – Shopping, cafés, and classic New York streets
Some of Our Favorite Places to Eat
Apollo Bagels – Simple, perfect bagels
Via Carota – Cozy Italian, ideal for lingering over pasta
Poppy’s (Brooklyn) – A neighborhood favorite
John’s Pizzeria – A New York classic, and our favorite pizza
Bubby’s – Get the pancakes (trust us)
